A few simple changes we have made in our household to reduce our trash and burden on recycling that I'll pass along. Use cloth napkins, in our case a set of Design No. Five's custom linen napkins made out of our Seaweed in Mariner's Blue.
Combine this with your morning coffee made in a French Press versus using k-cups. We drink a ton of coffee so abandoning our Kuerig in combination with our new system of composting has significantly reduced our trash. Just start, it's easy.

I am sure there are more adjectives we might use but this will suffice; however, given today and every day is Earth Day we need to consider eco-friendly fabrics. Linen is made from flax and flax is one of the sturdiest and most durable fibers available, making linen practical. The other consideration is that flax requires no fertilizer, pesticides in its growth and is harvested and woven in a very straightforward manner with low ecological impact. Believe in Linen
